Bay Area Military Moms Send Holiday Gifts Overseas

SAN RAMON (CBS 5) ― Bay Area mothers with sons and daughters serving in the armed forces acted Friday to make sure soldiers know that they have support at home.

Blue Star Moms worked busily in San Ramon to get Christmas Packages ready to ship out overseas. The process is therapy for moms, especially on the heels of the president's announcement that 30,000 more troops are heading over to Afghanistan.

In her video report, Linda Yee talks to moms who want to make sure that soldiers overseas are recognized during the holiday season.
