Huge Carmel Valley Pot Garden Eradicated

CARMEL VALLEY (BCN) ― A pot garden in Monterey County with an estimated street value of $26 million in marijuana was eradicated Monday, the Monterey County Sheriff's Office reported.
 
The County of Monterey Marijuana Eradication Team, the Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and members of the California Department of Justice destroyed the plants found at a garden off of Robinson Canyon Road in the area of Carmel Valley.

About 6,500 plants had been seized but no suspects were present when law enforcement arrived. The sheriff's office said the case of ongoing.
