SF Cargo Plane Catches Fire

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5 / AP / BCN) ― Federal officials say the cockpit of a cargo plane caught fire while it was parked at San Francisco International Airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration reported the Saturday night fire happened in an Airborne Express Boeing 767 used to transport only cargo.

Officials say the aircraft was parked far from areas which much traffic.

But roads into the airport were closed for some time late Saturday.

Officials say the fire was quickly extinguished.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
