Suspect Identified In Calistoga Murder
CALISTOGA (BCN) ―
Calistoga police Tuesday afternoon identified Rudolfo Uribe, 26, of Napa, as the suspect in the murder of Calistoga resident Luis Octavio Carrillo on Monday.
Carrillo, 26, was shot in the torso around 1:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Oak Street in Calistoga. Police found him lying face down on the sidewalk.
Witnesses described a blue compact car, possibly a Honda, leaving the area at the time of the shooting, police said.
A male was also seen running from the scene, through the Saratoga Manor Apartment complex, police said.
Uribe is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds. He has "Rudolfo" tattooed on his right arm and "Mercedes" tattooed on his left arm, police said.
The Napa County Major Crimes Task Force is helping Calistoga police with the murder investigation.
Napa County Sheriff's Lt. Tracey Stuart said it's believed Uribe and Carrillo knew each other.
Police are asking the public's help in locating Uribe. Anyone with information is asked to call Calistoga police at (707) 942-2810.
