Man Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of Brother In SF

 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― San Francisco police early Monday morning arrested a 53-year-old man
for allegedly stabbing his younger brother to death during an argument Sunday afternoon at a Sunset District residence.

The stabbing took place at about 4:15 p.m. inside a home in the 1600 block of 26th Avenue, where Anton Bajjalieh and his brother both lived,
according to police spokesman Sgt. Steve Mannina.

Following a verbal dispute at the house, Bajjalieh allegedly stabbed his brother and fled before police arrived, only to be arrested when he returned home hours later, Mannina said.

"When he returned at 2 a.m., officers were waiting at the house and took him into custody," Mannina said.

The 48-year-old victim's name has not yet been released by the San Francisco medical examiner's office.
