Ed Gallagher is a retired building contractor who slowly went blind. But he is now able to go sailing on the San Francisco Bay, through a high-tech device that lets him virtually see.
A camera on Gallagher's forehead connects to a laptop in his backpack, which sends images through the internet phone service Skype. He can schedule a guide anywhere in the world to look through his camera and be his virtual guide.
