Blind Bay Area Karate Students Set To Compete

HAYWARD (CBS 5) ― Students at the California School for the Blind are accustomed to overcoming challenges. But later this month, five members of the school's karate team are competing in a regional tournament in Oregon, one step away from nationals.

They will compete against those who have a full range of vision. But the young men competing have figured out ways to compete, through incredible inner strength and self-discipline.
