Blind Bay Area Karate Students Set To Compete

Five members of the California School for the Blind's karate team will compete in a regional tournament in Oregon later this month.

Students at the California School for the Blind are accustomed to overcoming challenges. But later this month, five members of the school's karate team are competing in a regional tournament in Oregon, one step away from nationals.
They will compete against those who have a full range of vision. But the young men competing have figured out ways to compete, through incredible inner strength and self-discipline.
