Bay Area Weekend Shootings Kill 3, Injure 4

Weekend shootings across the Bay Area left at least three people dead and four others injured, according to local police agencies.
The incidents include:
In Oakland, a woman died from being shot multiple times near 55th and Westmont avenues on Saturday night. No suspects were arrested and police offered no further details.
Also In Oakland, a Friday night shooting in the 1400 block of 94th Avenue left a male victim injured. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
In Santa Rosa, a 53-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries from being shot during an armed robbery Saturday night in the area of Santa Rosa and Bellevue avenues. Detectives believe the victim went to the Quail Run apartments to sell marijuana when an unknown number of armed suspects fired several rounds. Anyone with information was asked to call Detective Jerry Turney at (707) 543-3590.
In San Jose, a male victim was injured in a drive-by shooting on Saturday afternoon in the 2100 block of Warmwood Lane. Police said the shots were fired from a vehicle carrying three or four suspects, but they did not release descriptions.
In Fairfield, 22-year-old Isac Montiel was shot multiple times and killed early Saturday inside a home in the 700 block of Dogwood Circle. Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information was asked to call police at (707) 428-7300 or Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-7867.
In East Palo Alto, 39-year-old Cara Jean Parks, also known as 'Gigi' was shot to death while riding her bike Friday night in the 2700 block of Hunter Street. No arrests had been made and police were looking interview anyone who may have seen the shooting. Witnesses were urged to call Detective David Carson at (650) 853-5957 or Detective Jeff Liu at (650) 853-3131.
In Concord, an 18-year-old man who attempted to stop an assault was shot in the neck at Laguna and Adelaide streets on Friday evening. Police said a 16-year-old boy, who was among a group of teens, shot the man and then fled on foot. The victim was treated and released. Police were asking anyone with information to call the crime tip hot line at (925) 603-5836.
