BART Says Bridge Shutdown Was No Cash Windfall

Considering the fact that BART set new ridership records during the Bay Bridge shutdown, one might think that the beleaguered system made money hand over fist. System officials say that isn't the case.
A Bay Area Rapid Transit system said that the cost of overtime and additional trains will make the increased ridership a wash at best.
In his video report, Phil Matier explains how mass transit riders don't really end up paying the full share of the cost of their ride.
