Man Arrested In Antioch Pot-Growing Operation
ANTIOCH (BCN) ―
A 29-year-old Oakley man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of running a large marijuana grow operation in an Antioch home, police said Wednesday.
Officers served search warrants at Alexander Rendon's Oakley home and a suspected grow house on Medanos Street in Antioch, where investigators allegedly found more than 100 marijuana plants, Antioch police said.
Rendon had been arrested twice since October for possession of marijuana for sale after traffic stops in Antioch, according to police.
Rendon was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility Tuesday for cultivation, theft of utilities, committing a felony while out on bail and possession of marijuana for sale.
