San Mateo Deputies Warn Of Acid Bomb Attacks

SAN MATEO CO. (CBS 5) ― Sheriff's Deputies in San Mateo County are warning residents to be on the lookout for suspicious looking soda bottles, after a series of acid bomb explosions.

Acid bombs have been found in three locations in Redwood City and Belmont. The bombs are plastic bottles filled with chemicals that could explode and cause serious injuries. Deputies say it's unclear if the attacks are connected.
