Search On For Redwood City Triple Homicide Suspect
SAN MATEO (BCN) ―
The San Mateo County Sheriff's office was continuing to search for a person of interest in the ongoing investigation of a triple homicide in unincorporated Redwood City on June 23, a lieutenant said Tuesday.
Manuel Montero Nambo, 21, was believed to have been driving a blue Honda Accord that was seen speeding away from the area immediately after the shooting. Witnesses told officers that two women and one man were in the Honda.
Officers found the Honda abandoned in Atherton on June 24 after receiving a tip.
"We don't know if he's a victim, a witness or a suspect," Lt. Marc Alcantara said of Nambo. "We need to interview him to determine exactly what he saw."
Three men were found shot to death in and around a home at 512 Stanford Ave., according to the sheriff's office. Freddie Omar Bustos-Bustos, a 23-year-old Fresno resident, and Jose Guadelupe Aleman-Dominguez, a 33-year-old from Riverside, were found inside the home while 26-year-old Jorge Guzman Reynaga was found in the driveway.
Reynaga was a resident of the Stanford Avenue home. Several guns were found in the house, said Alcantara, who declined to say how many or what kind.
Investigators were still trying to determine whether the shooting was the result of a home invasion robbery. Other motives had not been ruled out and every lead was being followed, he added.
Anyone who has information regarding the incident has been asked to contact sheriff's Detective Derron Sisneros at (650) 363-4055 or the anonymous tip line at (800) 547-2700.
