San Jose Shaken By Magnitude 2.5 Quake
SAN JOSE (BCN) ―
The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.5 struck Saturday morning in Santa Clara County.
According to the USGS, the earthquake struck at about 5:25 a.m. and had a depth of about 4.9 miles.
The quake was centered about 8 miles southeast of Alum Rock and 12 miles east of San Jose City Hall, according to the USGS.
