Man Shot In Hand In SF's Visitacion Valley

A male victim was shot and injured near San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood Friday night, police said.

The victim was exiting his car in the unit block of Blythdale Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. when he sustained a gunshot wound to his hand and another bullet grazed his lip, police said.

The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, according to police.

No arrests have been made and the shooting remains under investigation.
