SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
Officers in South San Francisco were able to track down and arrest an alleged purse-snatcher on Monday after witnesses followed the suspect and
alerted police.
At around 1:50 p.m., three people heard a woman cry for help after she was robbed in the area of 300 Grand Avenue, according to the South San Francisco Police Department.
A 20-year-old San Bruno man, Israel Vazquez, had allegedly grabbed the woman's purse and fled the area on foot.
The bystanders reportedly followed Vazquez and called police with details regarding his location.
