Coroner IDs Body Found Floating In SF Bay

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― A man whose body was found in the Bay Thursday afternoon has been identified by the San Francisco medical examiner's office as 48-year-old Edward Howell of San Francisco.

Howell's body was spotted in the water near Pier 70 in San Francisco shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday.

The cause of his death has not yet been determined, a medical examiner's employee said.
