A federal jury in San Francisco has begun deliberating the fate of former track coach Trevor Graham.
The jury now has to decide whether he lied to investigators about his role in a steroids distribution case.
Graham is specifically accused of lying to investigators who were trying to prove that track star Marion Jones lied to a federal grand jury in 2003 when she denied using steroids.
Jones was one of Graham's elite athletes and is now serving a six-month prison sentence.
Several Olympic gold medal sprinters testified that Graham encouraged them to buy and use performance-enhancing drugs.
