Antioch Wife Arrested For Husband's Fatal Stabbing

ANTIOCH (CBS 5 / AP / BCN) ― A 28-year-old Antioch woman was arrested after police said she fatally stabbed her husband in the chest during an argument.

Qiana Marie Brown called 9-1-1 about 11:50 p.m. Saturday and said she had stabbed her husband, according to Sgt. Diane Aguinaga.

Police said family members had separated the feuding couple at 1740 Linden Place, when Brown grabbed a knife and stabbed her 34-year-old spouse in the chest.
 
He was transported to Sutter Delta Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.  The name of the husband was not immediately released.

Brown was being held Sunday in the Contra Costa County jail in Martinez after being booked on one count of murder.
