This coming Monday, "Eye On The Bay" gets an exclusive sneak-peek of "The Walt Disney Family Museum," which opens to the public on Friday, October 1. The sounds of the Pacific come to the Golden Gate Theatre in a new musical production. 9 - EAT SMALL PLATES HERE
Lobby Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton
600 Stockton Street, San Francisco
Tuesday to Saturday 6 - 9.30pm
There is a little secret and I want to share it with you, there is a dining spot in San Francisco where you can wine and dine like a king for a fraction of the usual cost. The Ritz in San Francisco is now offering Chef Ron Siegel's small bites and small bottles in the Lobby Lounge: chilled oysters that melt like honey on your tongue, tuna tartare that is terrifically tasty, and seared foie gras that is sensational to say the least. My favorite: the 64-degree quail egg with caviar and croutons. It arrives at the table on a plastic-covered glass bowl filled with cedar smoke - heaven. All plates are under $10. Accompany your small plates with a small bottle of regional wine from $18.
