(CBS 5) Greetings chums,

There is much to enjoy around the Bay from the Bay to Breakers in SF to a new gourmet pub in Redwood City - plus, a rock show not to be missed with a new rock super group at The Fillmore on Sunday.

Have a mad, fab, fun filled weekend.

Cheers, Liam.

It is pants-down the biggest party on the SF calendar. A great run (walk) for all where fun and frivolity are the order of the day. Come costumed, bring good spirit and be a part of this only-in-San Francisco affair. The run will take from the foot of Howard Street to the Great Highway and then to Golden Gate Park for one big party. See you there.   Or watch live on CBS5.com

6 - AT THE MOVIES
Angels and Demons
Now Playing
Tom Hanks reprises his role as irreverent, code-cracking Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon and is likeable in the film. However, many of the Da Vinci's Code's arcane riddles and preposterous twists are lost among Ron Howard's spectacular shots, long pans, Vatican flyovers. I love this stuff but it does not help the story telling. The film is a great ride but does not fully do the great tales by Dan Brown cinematic justice.

7 - HOT TICKET
Kylie Minogue
Fox Theater
Oakland
Wednesday September 30th and Thursday October 1st
On sale now
The Australian pint-sized pop princess is touring America for the first time and she takes off on a high note playing the recently revamped Fox Theater in Oakland. Kylie is as big as Madonna in Europe. Her stage shows are showgirl spectacular, a sonic and visual explosion with Kylie at the center. See her in an intimate setting here at the Fox as the next round of shows will no doubt be in arenas and stadiums.

8 - MUST-SEE TV
Eye On The Bay - Music Special
CBS 5
Monday, 7pm
I rarely plug Eye on The Bay on the list but I am so thrilled about an upcoming show that I hope all will see. This Monday night we focus on music. I sit at the piano with a music legend, Richard Sherman, the man behind so many movie scores: Mary Poppins, Jungle Book, Winnie The Pooh, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and more. He also wrote - along with brother Robert - the theme to Disney's Small World ride. Add to this, the show also features Miley Cyrus, Sammy Hagar and broadcasting goddess Renel Brooks-Moon.

9 - UNDERGROUND DINING
Dissident Chef's "Brit" Dinner
Location: TBD (San Francisco)
Saturday May 23rd, 7pm
Join me and the Dissident Chef for one unforgettable evening of fine food and wonderful wine. The theme is a British one so Shepherd's Pie is guaranteed. Perhaps a little bubble and squeak or toad in the hole? We shall see. This will be a great night, with great company and great food and hey, we get to dine together. And the rock star dissident chef will rock your palette and provide a culinary party on your plate. Sign up on the site below.

10 - GOURMET HAPPY HOUR
Martin's West Pub
831 Main Street, Redwood City
Lunch: Monday to Friday 11am to 2.30pm
Dinner: Monday to Saturday 5pm - 11pm
At last, a destination pub with posh nosh in Redwood City. This brand-spanking new pub is very much about the food. Of course, I can only comment on the delicious apps I devoured at the opening bash: pork belly on Irish soda bread, heaven. Goat cheese fritters than melt in your mouth. And smashing bangers and mash, classic pub fare done wickedly well. Ooh, did I mention the deep fried mars bar? YUMMY! The vibe is cozy and comfortable as any pub should be. I highly recommend it. And for folks in the city, it's a 30-minute ride on the train. Leave the car behind and have a night out in Redwood City, you'll be glad you did.
