9 EAT HERE
Nob Hill Grill
969 Hyde Street, San Francisco
Daily 5pm - 10pm
Every neighborhood has a gem or a restaurant or two and I found one this past week on Nob Hill. It's Nob Hill Grill on the corner of Hyde and Bush. The food is classic American and every morsel offered will make your mouth water. The spinach and artichoke dip is a good way to start, heaven. I had the open face chicken pot pie for my main, stacked to the gills with fresh vegetable, swimming in a sherry cream sauce and a light puff pasty crust on top and bottom. Yum Yum Yum. The best seat in the house is at the counter watching the chef make magic in the open kitchen. And then came dessert: Brioche Cinnamon Bread Pudding- Served with caramel bourbon sauce, topped with candied walnuts and spun sugar. Yes, i left with a very happy tummy.
