Greetings Lovers,
Cupid's arrow strikes again all over the Bay Area. From FREE things to fancy things there is much you can do with a little heart this Valentine's weekend.
A loved up weekend to you and yours.
Cheers, Liam.
1 - ROMANTIC EAT
Fleur De Lys
777 Sutter Street, San Francisco
Valentine's Menu Special 5pm to 10.30pm
Favorite french chef Hubert Keller has put a lot of love into a special menu for lovers this Valentine's Day. The chef's set tasting menu could well be the best meal you ever eat in what I regard to be the most romantic restaurant in the Bay Area. From the moment you walk into Fleur De Lys you are treated like royalty and from start to finish this fine dining fave is every bit a right royal treat. Spoil yourself with the truffled-soaked fries, sample the foie grois, and load up on the sensational scallops. Do leave a little room for dessert, you'll be happy you did. This magical restaurant takes fine dining to a superior level and if your V-Day is spent here you will want to return to do it all over again in a year.

8 - LOVE AT THE MOVIES
Two Lovers
Now Playing
If it's romance you want at the theater this weekend make the trek to see this flick. Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow star as the unlikely pair in this Dostoevsky-inspired love story. Phoenix is the uncertain, insecure loner he plays so well coupled with Paltrow's bird-with-a-broken-wing character. They weave a tangled love web as they come together. Directed by James Gray, this may not be the love story that all Valentine's Days are made of but at the very least it will help you escape and in these times that's got to be worth the price of admission.
