It's also Grammy weekend so tune in to CBS 5 on Sunday for the big music party.
Have an amped up weekend.

2 - ON STAGE
Brian Copeland: "Not A Genuine Black Man"
Marsh Theater
1062 Valencia St., San Francisco
Through February 13th
Star of stage, radio and the small screen, Brian Copeland is back with his award-winning one-man show. The play tells the story of Copeland's challenging upbringing in San Leandro, once regarded as one of the most racist suburbs in America. The play is as moving as it is funny so prepare for some belly laughs and more than a few reasons to shed a tear. Copeland is a Bay Area treasure, we are lucky to have him performing here once again. Hollywood is knocking so see this show soon, while you can.

3 - HEAR THIS GRAMMY NOMINEE
Coldplay: "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends"
Online Now
British pop darlings Coldplay are up for seven Grammys this weekend. Their 2008 album title was inspired by a Frida painting. However, spirituality and faith dominate the rest of the album, tracks like
Cemeteries of London, a little clue. The British foursome are in fine form here. Like a fine wine this record gets better with time. Head to their online home for sound samples and to see when they return for live dates in the Bay Area.

8 - AT THE MOVIES
Pink Panther 2
Now Playing
Steve Martin is back as the bumbling Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther. Former Month Python John Cleese helps set up many of the laughs and he steals almost every scene. Martin is amusing but he can never replace the brilliant Peter Sellers as the loveable slapstick sleuth. A fun film with many laughs but it may be worth waiting for the DVD.

One of the best cheap eats in the Bay Area is on offer at Home Restaurant on Market Street in San Francisco. Here's the deal, a salad, an entree, dessert and a glass of wine for a meal-deal-bargain price of $13. On my visit I had a yummy spinach and walnut salad, meatballs and spaghetti and a healthy fruit salad for dessert. You won't find a better deal any place and if you do, please let me know. Home serves up classic American comfort food that will make your tummy and your wallet happy. And the special early bird menu changes daily.
