Radiohead, Jack Johnson and Beck are among the 65 artists performing at the Outside Lands Festival this weekend. oaklandzoo.org 5 - HEAR THIS CD
The Verve - "Forth" In Stores Now Richard Ashcroft and his band of merry men reunite for a new musical offering titled "Forth". This musical tour de force proves that even after a decade apart they still have the sonic metal to make a good record. Ashcroft's vocals are as haunting as ever. As if carrying the weight of the world, Ashcroft's heartbreaking vocal work. He has the ability to suck you in and make you care. And I do.

slowfoodnation.org7 - MUST-SEE TV
The Cho Show VH1
Thursdays at 10pm
San Francisco's first lady of comedy, Margaret Cho, has taken up residence at cable TV network VH1. The Cho Show was inspired by Kathy Griifin's D-list show. Cho's new reality TV outing is hilarious. Her parents take center stage on the show and are as ever, the butt of many jokes. Give The Cho Show a go but be warned, you might just crack a rib in the process.
margaretcho.com8 - TICKLE YOUR FUNNY BONE
Kathy Griffin Mountain Winery
14831 Pierce Road, Saratoga
Monday 8pm
Tickets: From $49.50 Margaret Cho pal Kathy Griffin brings her touring comedy show to Saratoga for one night only. Lots to laugh at here, Griffin - like Cho is - bold, brassy, fearless and irreverent. Not a show for the kids but certainly a good night out for mom and pops. A warning, do not sit near the front, you might be on the receiving end of Griffin's wicked tongue. See you there. I'll be in the back row!
mountainwinery.com/event.asp?event_id=232 9 - EAT HERE
Terzo 3011 Steiner Street, San Francisco
Daily 4pm to 10pm It's been a Cow Hollow favorite for over two years and after one visit here I quickly discovered what the fanfare is all about. Chef Mark Gordon's culinary fare is Mediterranean-inspired, served up in a cozy, but hip setting among all the Cow Hollow action. Small plates are the trademark and add to the communal feel here, assuming you'll be sharing. I recommend the free-range chicken spiedini. And I dare you to try their tasty, crispy fried onions. YUM. The communal table or a seat at the bar are the best spots to perch.
terzosf.com10 - HAPPY HOUR
Hob Nob 1313 Park Street, Alameda
Happy Hour: 5 - 7pm and 10pm to Midnight Enjoy two happy hours every day at Alameda's new hot spot. The Hob Nob is a restaurant that boasts a bar at the front of house, a bar that offers a happy hour for those on the early shift and those on the late shift. Enjoy $3 cocktails and beers on tap at $4. The pomegranate-tini is their signature cocktail. And while at Hob Nob order some small plates from the kitchen; truffle fries, mini burgers or the wedge salad are my personal favorites. You won't be disappointed.
