Greetings chums, Welcome to another edition of Liam's List.  I have ten good reasons for you to escape and enjoy something around the Bay this weekend; from green happenings in San Francisco as part of Earth Day to a happy hour in Belmont. Have a wonderfully GREEN weekend.

Green Apple Festival
Speedway Meadow, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco
Sunday April 20th, Noon - 6pm
It's one of the biggest Earth Day celebrations in the country and it's all going down on Sunday in Golden Gate Park. Mickey Hart's Mass Drum circle will take center stage with musical guests; Tommy Lee, Jon Fishman and more. Environmental exhibits will be stages throughout the park. So be conscious of the planet and soak up some sounds in the park this weekend.

2 - HELLO PLANET

EarthFest is a fun, free way to enjoy the stunning San Francisco bay and learn more about how you can help better care for our region and save our planet. Twenty exhibiting organizations will be highlighting easy "green" or earth-friendly actions that you and your family can implement at home.

My fave bunny-hopping, music-making, desert-inspired band Gram Rabbit come back town this weekend. This show will change your life. 9th Annual Plumpjack Golf Classic

Monday April 21st, 6pm
Join Mayor Newsom, family and friends for the Annual Plumpjack Golf Classic at the Lake Merced Golf Club. After a day on the green stay for a three course gourmet dinner and a LIVE auction. Yours truly will be at the gavel as all manner of sensational offerings are up for grabs. Proceeds go to the Northern California Cancer Center.

Almost 100 years after the RMS Titanic sank, the public's fascination with the lost luxury liner keeps going full steam ahead. On April 19th, artifacts from the last American survivor's collection will be auctioned off, along with other items from the White Star Line's ship. The auction will be held at Henry Aldridge & Son Web in England but you can view the artifacts online.

Located in the Rouge nightclub, but don't be put off by the chandeliers, just follow your nose to the tacos. At $2.95 a taco you can't go wrong here. Add a dollar to give your tacos the Nick's treatment; a dollop of quacamole and a dollop of cheese. The Nieman Ranch steak taco in my personal fave. The tacos here will make your tummy happy and you will return for more. Now who is Nick?

10 - HAPPY HOUR

Mondays to Fridays, 3pm - 6pm
You can stop here for some fine Mexican fare but if it's cheap drinks you are seeking, you will find them here during happy hour. Beers are a steal at just $3.  And the best part, FREE appetizers for all. The lounge can pack up quickly so get there early.
