prized vino. Then, sit back and allow Lewis Black to remind you of just
how good your life is with his smart, twisted look at the universe.

ABC "Traffic" CD Online NOW Martin Fry, lead man from slick eighties band ABC is in the middle of a
North American tour. However, he took time before this touring venture
to lay down some new tracks in the form of a new ABC cd, "Traffic."
This twelve track offering, the band's first in eleven years is jam
packed with swooning strings, big beats and Fry's lyrical puns and
conceits. ABC diehards will not be disappointed. A valiant musical
effort from a group that has offered little but memories, since it's
heyday in the eighties.

8 - AT THE MOVIES
Brideshead Revisited Various Bay Area Theaters
NOW Playing This provocative British tale of class and forbidden love makes it's way
to the big screen. This wartime love story by Evelyn Waugh was adapted
for the BBC in the eighties and was a massive hit. This new big screen
adaptation pulls out all the stops with stunning photography and a first
class cast; Emma Thompson, Matthew Goode and Michael Gambon. I highly recommend it.

9 - EAT TOMATOES
Heirloom Tomato Week August 15th to August 24th
Various Bay Area Restaurants Enjoy and celebrate tomatoes at the Bay Area's best restaurants, for one
week only. The region's top chefs are infusing dishes, sweet and savory
with those little cherry, red and yellow nuggets of goodness. My
personal favorite is BIX restaurant in San Francisco where diners sample
a fresh platter of tomatoes wheeled in and presented on a tomato cart at
your table. Each tomato lovingly drizzled in mouth watering olive oil
and house made balsamic vinegar. Yummy. Venture to the web site for the full big red tomoto inspired list of partaking chefs and restaurants.
