Community Building Partners & Steering Committee
(CBS 5)
A number of top Bay Area organizations who care deeply about the community have come together to support the Jefferson Awards for Public Service Program. By assisting with grassroots development and financial assistance, these organizations illustrate their strong commitment to community building, civic engagement and volunteerism. We would like to formally thank the following organizations for their strong commitment and leadership: First Republic Bank, PG & E, United Way Bay Area, and Deloitte & Touche USA LLP.
In order to make the Jefferson Awards for Public Service successful in the Bay Area, we have also invited local leadership to help with program design, outreach and selection of weekly recipients. Beginning in 2004, The Jefferson Awards assembled a local steering committee that has provided leadership and helped make key decisions regarding the direction of our efforts in the entire Bay Area. Key Leaders include: The Volunteer Centers, Hands on Bay Area, Project Open Hand, and United Way. We sincerely thank these organizations and others for their ongoing contributions and leadership.
