Trial Begins In 1985 Oakland Cold Case Murder
OAKLAND (CBS 5) ―
After years of delays, a trial began on Monday for a man accused of brutally murdering an Oakland girl 22 years ago.
Talita Dixon's body was found in the Oakland hills in late 1985, after she was raped and stabbed repeatedly. DNA technology led to charges in 1999 against Anthony McKnight, an enlisted man at the Alameda Naval Air Station. But the case has been delayed numerous times.
