Morel Mushrooms Pulled From NorCal Grocery Shelves

SAN RAMON (CBS 5) ― Some wild mushrooms are being pulled from store shelves at more than a dozen northern California supermarkets.

Contra Costa County Health officials are testing mushrooms sold at the San Ramon Whole Foods store in response to a customer complaint that they are poisonous.

Whole Foods said the wild mushrooms in question are Morels.
