Promising New Treatment For Multiple Sclerosis

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ― Early phase two trials don't often make news, but the results of a new multiple sclerosis treatment worthy of note.

Multiple sclerosis is thought to be an autoimmune disorder where the body attacks nerve fibers in the brain and spinal cord.

People with MS often suffer attacks of double vision, blindness, weakness, numbness incoordination, But a high tech new drug approved to tread non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and rheumatoid arthritis is showing significant effect in treating M.S. Our video report has more.
