Mandatory HPV Vaccine For New Citizens Questioned

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ― American parents have the choice whether to vaccinate their daughters with Gardasil, but the same is not true for young girls seeking U.S. residency.

Just a few months ago, the federal government added Garsasil to the list vaccinations young women must get before they become a permanent U.S. resident.

Now, some doctors are wondering why the injection was made mandatory.
