Funding Shortage Dooms SF Senior Meal Program

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ― A program that not only serves up a meal, but also companionship for hundreds of seniors a day is about to shut down due to funding problems.

On Tuesday, the last lunch was served at the Dorwin Jones Senior center, putting an end to a program that helped some seniors for more than 20 years.

In her video report, Ann Notarangelo reports on the financial crunch putting an end to the program.
