By sharing meal preparation duties, families have more free time.

Planning and cooking meals for your family every day can be tiring, time consuming and expensive. But there is a way to cook just once a week, and have a home-cooked dinner for the entire week.
As part of a meal sharing concept Kelli Luck created a few years ago, she ends up cooking for not just her family, but two others as well. After she is done, she gets to take the rest of the week off.
The menus are agreed upon for the month, and leftovers are eaten on Wednesday nights. If a meal doesn't cut it with the group, the cook moves on to something else.
The meals are delivered around 5pm, allowing the parents to spend fewer hours each week in the kitchen, and more time with the kids.
