At a time when so many are looking to cut back, grabbing a bite to eat for $1.00 seems nearly impossible, or is it?

You can get good eats for about a dollar if you know to look. Asian-style deli restaurants, such as Dakao Sandwich on 3rd and San Salvador in San Jose are a good bet. But perhaps the best value of all is the tried and true $1.50 all-beef hot dog and fountain drink at Costco.
