Asian‐Inspired Meat Marinade Recipe

This recipe, featured on the CBS 5 Weekend Early Edition, was Developed by Chef Dennis Lee of Namu Bar.
Ingredients:
- 1 can natural cola
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 tbls minced garlic
- 3 tbls minced ginger
- 2 cups soy sauce
- 1 cup mirin
- 1 cup sake
- ¼ cup sesame oil
Instructions (for up to 20 lbs of meat):
- Coat meat with sugar and sesame oil
- Massage sugar and sesame oil into the meat
- Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl
- Pour mixture over meat and mix
- Let the meat marinade for at least 6 hours no more than 48 hours
*Marinade can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks
