SF Climate Change Contest Looking For Entries

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― Contest organizers will accept entries for a climate change creativity competition through July 15 for a chance to donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization.

The "Turn the Tide" competition asks for art projects, poems, songs, essays, board games and other entries to show the impact of climate change on the Bay Area, according to contest organizers.

The contest was launched by FutureSeaLevel.org, an art project organized by the Aquarium of the Bay Foundation, the Sierra Club and SF Environment.

Entries will be accepted from individuals and teams.

The individual winner will receive $500 to be donated to a nonprofit organization of the winner's choice as well as other prizes.

The winning team will receive $1,000 to be donated to the organization of the team's choice.

All contest entrants will receive free tickets to the Aquarium of the Bay, organizers said.
