Parents Not Notified Of Vallejo School Sex Assault

VALLEJO (BCN) ― A Vallejo Middle School student is allegedly forced by one of her classmates to perform a sexual act in front of her peers. But parents are outraged over the school not notifying them about the incident, which occurred across the street from the school.

A Vallejo Middle School boy has been arrested for forcing his 7th grade classmate to perform oral sex on him in broad daylight. The Vallejo City Unified School District confirmed an 8th grade girl was also arrested in helping to facilitate the assault.

The district says one of the reasons it did not notify parents of the alleged assault was because it did not happen on school grounds, but at the tennis courts at nearby Vallejo High. School officials say since the incident occurred off school grounds and that arrests were made, there was no need to send notification to parents.
