Equipment Stolen From Gilroy Football Team
Kiet Do, Reporting.
GILROY (CBS 5) ―
A football team at a high school in Gilroy has been thrown for a loss. Someone stole thousands of dollars worth of their equipment.
At Anchorpoint Christian High School, they are now practicing with borrowed footballs. That's because sometime last weekend, thieves somehow replicated the remote control signal for the garage, broke in and took practically everything. All told, it was $15,000 worth of equipment, scraped together with countless carwashes and fundraisers over the past four years.
Our video report has more.
