Armed Men Rob 4 Students In UC Berkeley Dorm Room

 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

BERKELEY (AP) ― Police say two armed men woke up and robbed four students in a dormitory on the University of California, Berkeley campus.

Police say the suspects entered the two-room suite through an open window early Tuesday morning on the Clark Kerr Campus, located a couple blocks from the main campus.

Investigators say one of the robbers woke up the sleeping students and demanded a laptop computer. He also left with a wallet.

Police weren't able to catch the suspects, who left through the suite's front door. None of the students was injured.

Mitch Celaya, assistant chief of campus police, called the robbery "extraordinarily brazen and bold" and expects to receive calls from angry parents.
