Magnitude 2.3 Earthquake Occurs Near San Ramon

 CBS 5 Earthquakes Section

SAN RAMON (CBS 5) ― The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.3 struck at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday near San Ramon.

According to the USGS, the epicenter of the micro-quake was one mile west/northwest of San Ramon.

There were no reports of injuries or damage, according to Contra Costa County authorities.
