Minor Earthquake Shakes San Jose
SAN JOSE (BCN) ―
The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an
earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.1 struck at 4:48 a.m. Tuesday near San Jose.
According to the USGS, the earthquake had a
depth of five miles and was centered about five miles northeast of Alum Rock
and about nine miles northeast of San
Jose City Hall.
