Magnitude 4.3 Quake Hits Coast Off Eureka

EUREKA (AP) ― A 4.3-magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Northern California, but authorities said there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the light quake hit 63 miles off the coast west of Eureka at 8:07 p.m.

A Eureka Police Department dispatcher said the quake was not felt at headquarters and that police received no calls reporting damage or injuries.
