Small Earthquake Shakes San Jose Area
SAN JOSE (BCN) ―
The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.6 struck early Saturday morning in Santa Clara County.
According to the USGS, the earthquake struck at about 3:45 a.m. and had a depth of about 2.5 miles.
The quake was centered about 7 miles east of Milpitas and 9 miles northeast of San Jose City Hall, according to the USGS.
