Woman Fired At Leaving Suisun City Fireworks Show
FAIRFIELD (BCN) ―
Police in Fairfield are searching Sunday for a suspect vehicle that was involved in a shooting following a Fourth of July fireworks show.
At about 10:30 p.m. Friday a woman leaving the fireworks show in Suisun City was driving along Cordelia Road when she noticed a vehicle tailgating her, according to police.
She tapped on her breaks to get the car to stop following too closely.
When the woman turned on Chadbourne Road, an occupant of the other car fired at least three rounds out of the window at the victim's vehicle.
Police did not report any injuries.
The suspect vehicle, described as a dark-colored 1990s two-door car with a spoiler, was last seen speeding away toward Interstate Highway 80.
The occupants were described as black men in their 20s and one of them was wearing a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball hat.
Anyone with information is asked to call Fairfield police at (707) 428-7300 or Solano Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-STOP.
