Weekend Shooting Deaths In San Francisco, Oakland

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5 / BCN) ― A man was shot to death in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene at Fifth and Clementina Streets around 12:45 a.m., according to police.

The victim may have been involved in an argument with the shooter but witnesses were sparse, police indicated. No suspect information was readily available.

In Oakland, a juvenile was pronounced dead at the hospital late Saturday night shortly after he was shot, according to police.

The shooting was reported around 10:45 p.m. in the 1800 block of 96th Avenue, police said. No suspects were arrested.
