Sleeping Oakland Woman Hit By Stray Bullet

A 22-year-old woman is in critical condition after police say she was hit by a stray bullet from a drive-by shooting while sleeping in her apartment.

Three men also were injured in the shooting just before midnight Monday night. Officials say their injuries were treated and not considered life-threatening.

Police believe a bullet from the shooting on MacArthur Boulevard went through Shaneice Davis' apartment wall and struck her while she slept in her bed. Two other apartments were hit by bullets as well, but no other injuries were reported.

No suspects have been identified.
