13-Year-Old Stabbed At Opening Of Sonoma Co. Fair

SANTA ROSA (CBS 5 / KCBS) ― A 13-year-old was stabbed and wounded on the opening night of the Sonoma County Fair, police said.

Uniformed officers made a heavy show of security at the county fairgrounds Wednesday night following the stabbing and police indicated the tight security would continue for the rest of the fair.

Authorities said anyone who shows up at the fair's entry gates wearing what police consider to be gang-related colors or paraphanelia would not be allowed into the fairgrounds until they remove the offending items.
