Brothers Facing Charges In Sonoma Fair Stabbing
SANTA ROSA (BCN) ―
Twin brothers accused of stabbing a 13-year-old boy at the Sonoma County Fair Tuesday will be arraigned for assault and gang charges Monday morning in Sonoma County Superior Court.
Fabian and Damian Rosales, 19, of Geyserville, were identified Tuesday night as the suspects who challenged the stabbing victim and his friend to fight, Santa Rosa police Sgt. Craig Schwartz said. The Rosales brothers were arrested at the fair Thursday afternoon.
Police said the confrontation was between two rival gangs. The teen was stabbed in the leg and was admitted to a hospital for surgery.
The brothers were being held in the Sonoma County jail under $25,000 bail each. Police were still trying to identify other suspects in the confrontation, Schwartz said.
The incident happened on the first day of the fair and police increased security Wednesday.
