Suspect Arrested In Santa Rosa Stabbing
SANTA ROSA (BCN) ―
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing another man several times Monday morning at his Santa Rosa home, police said.
Officers went to the 500 block of Olive Street at about 6:30 a.m. on reports of the stabbing. Police found a 24-year-old Santa Rosa man suffering multiple stab wounds.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and later released, police said.
Officers located the suspect, Dionisio Vasquez Jimenez of Santa Rosa, in the Olive Street home. Detectives served a search warrant at the residence, recovered evidence and arrested Jimenez on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to police. He was booked into the Sonoma County jail.
