Manhunt For SJ Robbery Suspects In East Palo Alto
EAST PALO ALTO (BCN) ―
A perimeter has been established in East Palo Alto Tuesday afternoon while police search for two men who robbed a liquor store in San Jose this afternoon, then led police on a pursuit to East Palo Alto where the men abandoned their car.
Just before 3:15 p.m. Tuesday police received reports of an armed robbery at a liquor store in the 3900 block of Snell Avenue, San Jose police officer Enrique Garcia said. The two suspects fled the store before officers arrived.
A few minutes later a patrol officer spotted the suspects car in the area of U.S. Highway 101 and Montague Expressway, Garcia said. The suspects got onto northbound Highway 101 and drove to East Palo Alto with officers following.
Once in East Palo Alto the suspects abandoned the vehicle and the manhunt is continuing, Garcia said.
